1. What is never sent to a server

The following stays inside your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.

• The URLs you visit, the contents of pages, and search terms
• Your recorded usage time for each site
• Your settings: covered sites, time limits, schedules and Focus Mode

These are held in the extension's own storage. Removing the extension deletes them.

2. What is collected

The following is collected in order to sell Pro and to confirm it is being used on the account that bought it.

Google account details

Your email address and an identifier for the account, collected when you sign in. Passwords are never handled.

A browser identifier

A random string generated per browser. It contains nothing that identifies you personally, and only a hashed form is stored on the server.

Browser name and extension version

For example “Chrome”, and a version number such as “1.8.0”.

Connection and last-checked timestamps

Used to show which browser was connected and when, on your account page.

3. What it is used for

• Authenticating your account and confirming eligibility for Pro features
• Enforcing the limit of three browsers per account
• Handling purchases and answering questions about them
• Preventing abuse

It is not used for anything else. It is never used for advertising, and never sold to third parties.

4. Third-party services

The service is delivered with the help of the providers below. Each of their privacy policies applies.

• Google LLC (sign-in with a Google account)
• Supabase, Inc. (storage of account and purchase records)
• Vercel Inc. (hosting of this website)
• Polar Software, Inc. (checkout and payment processing)

Pro is sold by Polar Software, Inc. as the seller of record. Payment details such as card numbers are handled by them and are never received by us.

5. Retention and deletion

Collected information is kept for as long as the account exists. Connected browsers can be disconnected at any time from your account page.

To delete the account itself, contact us at the address below. Everything is deleted except purchase records we are required by law to keep.

6. About the extension's permissions

SNS Detox needs permission to run on the pages of covered sites in order to measure usage and restrict the display. That permission is used to change how a page looks, never to transmit what you browse.

It also uses permission to communicate with this site (sns-detox.nekoroko.dev) in order to connect your account.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the revised text and the date of the revision are published on this page. Significant changes are also announced within the service.
